I just wanted to let you know Gus is doing
wonderfully, and he's the most amazing kitten! Such
a love-bug, always wanting to be held, cuddled, and
rubbed! Gus is incredibly smart! I could call
'here kitty' until I was blue in the face and he'd
just stare at me, but if I say "come, Gus", he
always comes straight to me, trilling and wanting a
cuddle! And what a floppy boy he is! He often
asks to be held and carried, and becomes such a
soft, relaxed noodle in my arms that I must hold him
carefully so he won't 'slide' from my hands! He's
such a Ragdoll! And what a sweet-talker! From
little chirps to sweet trills, he's constantly
charming me with his soft-spoken chatter.
Gus loves playing 'Peek-A-Boo'! When I go into the
kitchen, he'll peek his adorable face over the sofa
arm - just ears, eyes, and barely his nose showing.
When I say "I see you Gus!" he'll quickly duck, only
to peek over the arm again!
'Aunt Nonni' (my friend Sonya) visited yesterday,
and after a cautious inspection, he charmed his way
into her heart... although at first sight of him,
she was already head-over-heels crazy about him! He
impressed 'Aunt Nonni' when he popped out of his
litter box and wiped his clay-dusty paws on the
toweling around his box!
Each day brings another new and amazing thing, and
while I never think it possible, each day, I love
him more deeply than the day before. I'm doing
everything I can think of to give Gus as much
happiness as he gives me :-) and I do know that so
much of his loving personality is because of you and
the loving way in which he was raised! Thank you,
Barbara!
We love you!

Rosie
is quite the little lady, and very curious about
everything. No box is left unexamined!
Her favorite thing to do is make sure we wake up bright
and early for breakfast. If she feels you are trying to
ignore this ... she will come up and tap you until she
gets her way.
She loves to play and treat time rides high on her list
of favorite activities. In a nut shell ... she is
doing awesome!
This is Wyatt & Howie who
is just the most WONDERFUL kitty. He is just gorgeous
and is a total buddy.
He
loves everyone, loves to play fetch, and follows me
everywhere. He now wears a bell.
He
also remains quite the talker. His favorite word is
chicken which starts a flurry of chatter until he gets
it.
I
always say chicken over and over in the morning to get
my son out of bed. We call it the Howie alarm.
Thank you for allowing me to adopt this
wonderful member into my family. He is the
sunshine in my life, the reason I wake in the
morning, and come home early at night. He is
always waiting for me at the door when I come
home even if I was only gone long enough to
check the mail or empty the trash. He always
acts as if he hasn't seen me in days. I love
that feeling!!! He keeps me company and I would
have to say sane.
We do so much stuff together, mostly because he
always follows me around the house. I go to the
kitchen and turn around and he is sitting behind
me just looking up as if saying "Is it dinner
time again?" He never lets me out of his sight
for long. When he thinks it is bedtime and I get
up, he runs past me and jumps up on the chair I
keep beside my bed so he can get up there, and
jumps up on my bed and lays on my pillow. His
little motor just a running. I can hear it from
one end of the house to the other.
He is so comfortable here now and he loves to
sprawl out on his back and his legs going every
which way. He is truly an angel in my
eyes, and I thank you for allowing him to be
with me.
Thank you very much,
Warren
Isabella (Izzy) helped decorate the tree this year. We
decided not to put any breakables on the bottom branches.
Untangling the lights was a bit of a challenge as Isabella
was particularly interested in this procedure. Her help
with the Christmas wrap was not appreciated, but we couldn't
fault her enthusiasm. She loves Christmas and is Jim's
constant companion.
She has brought Jim much joy !
UPDATE,
1 YEAR LATER..............
Dear
Barbara,
Just thought you might like to know that I celebrated my
first birthday recently. I've grown quite a bit since
you put me on that plane. What an experience that
was...thank heavens I flew first class. I'm weighing in
at about ten pounds now and they say I am a real CATch.
I
have everybody pretty well shaped up around here. I'm
really quiet most of the time, but when I meow they
jump! I had a little trouble with the lady who comes to
clean every week. She had the gall to mess around with
my litter box and take some of my things. She tried to
make up to me by putting some of my sand back. However,
the next time she came, I was ready for her. I jumped
in my box and stayed there until she moved on. I mean,
REALLY, is nothing sacred anymore?
I
like to play with mousey. I throw him in the air and if
he complains, I hide him under the throw rug or slide
him under the closet door. I just ignore him until he
learns his lesson, but after awhile I let him
loose. Sometimes as a special treat, I take him up on my
cat tower and toss him over the side.
Well, its about time for my nap. I always answer the
doorbell when it rings and last night was a fright!
Kids coming to the door begging for food. Some were even
dressed up like cats. I couldn't believe my eyes. Have
they no shame?
I
am enclosing the picture taken on my birthday. Is it
any wonder they call me Purrty Girl?

A kitty & his
kid..................
He discovered my reproduction
quill pens the other day...I have several in an old inkwell
(no ink in it) and he took great delight in removing one at a
time and flying through the house with it in his mouth.
Here
he is in his bed on my desk with the quill pen. He's playing
fetch now in addition to hide and seek and continually
entertains us with his adorable antics and his cuddly, loving
nature.

Barbara, This is no surprise, but Sky fits in with this
family like he has been a part of it for years. He is
a blast to be around. Sky is really cool, loves to play and
eat and sleep and sleep. He enjoys our company
and we enjoy his. He is curled up beside my desk
chair this minute. We are totally sold on
Ragdoll Cats. If we ever get another, it will be one
that you have raised. He was 6 months old yesterday
and weighs about 11 pounds. Larry and Bren
Wiggles
has settled in quickly and does amazingly well with the kids.
She has been sleeping well at night after running around with
our two-year old all day, while the other kids are at school.
Then they take over when they get home.
She
sneaks away to one of her favorite chairs for a quick nap
whenever she gets the chance. She certainly doesn't lack for
attention (giving or receiving).
We are
very happy with our new little girl and I think she is pretty
happy with us too. We'll stay in touch.
We have never had a pet
before and this kitty has been the perfect pet!! Richard
will do anything for her-she loves to play hide and seek
every day with him and she really can find some great
hiding places.
We
also take her with us in the motor home and she is a
super traveler-she has traveled all the western states
and when she sees us taking her things out to the motor
home she sits at the back door just waiting!!!
Just wanted to tell you what a dream Micio
is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are amazed at this kitty
– he is a dream come true and we can’t believe how lucky we
are. Janet
Winkies
has been the best we could have asked for! The whole family
loves her, my kids fight over who gets to play with her next.
She loves the toy, Cat Dancer.
You are
a great breeder and our relatives that have seen her want to
take her home.
Thank You for her, hope you like
the pictures and we’ll keep in touch…

Lacey to them, she is such a sweetheart and I thank you.

After just a few days, Stella seems to be settling in great.
After a few obligatory hisses at the dogs, she's decided they're
not so bad. In fact, they're pretty soft & cuddly.
Thanks again for the super kitten. She's awesome.

Hi
Barbara!
Even though I didn’t know you before we got Leo, I feel as
though I have known you forever! I have looked at dozens of
Ragdoll sites on the internet and just had a feeling come over
me that you were the one! Boy was I right!
Getting our kitten from you has been a pleasure! Michael and I
still talk about all the love and care you put into your
kittens and how meticulously you had everything done for our
kitten.
Not just basic things like the
paper work but sending him with all the little extra loving
touches, right down to the toys and his baby blanket! And let
me tell you, IT SHOWS!
Leo has been so well adjusted right from day one! It has been
obvious that he came from a loving breeder who truly cares
about doing things right! We are so very in love with our Leo.
He has been fun from the minute we got him! He is so
affectionate, so smart and so sweet! He is a total love!
Everyone warned me he might cry through the first few nights
but they were all wrong. From the very first night he just
laid there and purred! He uses his litter box and scratching
post and gives us no problems at all! The girls love him to
bits and fight over who gets to hold him. Leo just purrs and
lets them pass him back and forth and back and forth. He is
always gentle with them! I can’t believe how beautiful he is.
Everyone who has seen him says he is the prettiest kitten they
have ever seen! I am so thankful to see that there are still
people like you in the world who are doing the best that can
be done at what they do! Michael and I were just saying the
other day, “With Barbara, Ragdoll breeding is something that
she takes very seriously, something that she is passionate
about and is committed to doing the right way.” I know we will
have years of happiness with our Leo and will always be
thankful for you, With love, Lynnette Winn
Hi, Barbara!
I
was expecting a wonderful kitty but Sugar Baby’s so much more
than that!!!! She’s so lovable and sweet, she’s very
smart!, and she’s so much FUN! She really has made
herself at home and it’s just a joy having her here with us.
She’s constantly purring except when she’s sleeping!
The only
problem I foresee is leaving her home alone - maybe
I’ll have to retire (hahaha)!! Actually, I’ll start with
little doses tomorrow afternoon when I go to the grocery
store. I can’t even leave her in a room alone without
her crying for me – as long as she can see me and get to me,
she’s happy as can be! Of course, we’ve been “attached”
all day today! She made big friends everywhere we went
today – my niece’s running camp, my office and a friend’s
office, the vet’s…what fun!!
This
morning, Larry found her sleeping between his two pillows,
flat as a pancake and purring when he took her out! She
slept thru the night, under the covers, behind my head, on the
nightstand in a little bitty space between some books.
You’ve raised an incredibly special little pet for us…thank
you so much, Barbara.
Purrs,
Debbie
Dear Barbara,
Lacey arrived pretty promptly
last night, and my Mother loved her from the minute she saw
her! When we got home she went exploring and inspecting
all over, and when she chose a spot on the sofa and received
her pets, we heard her marvelous purr.
Mom said she had a good night and
today we went to the veterinarian. Lacey was quite a
celebrity and all agreed her beauty and demeanor was
unparalleled. She is so sweet, relaxed and content!!
And healthy, the vet concurred.
You know Barbara, my Mother lives
alone and has many solitary hours. Lacey will bring her
so much in so many ways, and I am very grateful for this
wonderful, perfect, cat! We haven't really told the kids
yet, as we want Lacey settled in and bonded before too many
visitors, but I know she will be loved by all.
Mom is absolutely thrilled, so I
wanted to let you know and take one more opportunity to say
Thank You, Amy
We were on
your website the other night and our kitten was looking at the
cute pictures of your kittens. She loved pawing at the
little butterflies on the screen. It was so cute I took a
picture of it. She was looking at her new sister to be :)
Dear Barbara,
Thank you so much for letting me adopt Jaspurr! I am so
fortunate to have him and Sadie. I dearly love them
both. Jaspurr, with Sadie close behind him, follows me
everywhere....even to sitting patiently close by while I'm in
the shower, just waiting for me to finish. As a matter
of fact, both Jaspurr and Sadie, together, give the word
"underfoot" a brand new meaning; they are, literally,
underfoot constantly.
I've sat down and meditated for years; now I find that I move more
slowly and consciously in everything I do when at home, being always
aware of each movement so as not to step on either of them. It
takes the three of us to do anything and everything ... even to making
up the bed every morning (where we all sleep!). Our home life is
quiet and peaceful and full of love.
Last night, they were waiting together at the window for me when I
returned home. We three are bonding for life. Never have I
had it so good!!
After dinner, both Sadie and Jaspurr sit on on my lap ... Jaspurr up
close and personal, laying his head on my arm.... Sadie either laying
on my legs or wrapped around my shoulders. I already know this
can't go on forever as they will weigh too much when they're fully
grown, but it's wonderful right now.
Anyway, I rock and they sleep, and we're all
happy. I heard Jaspurr purr last night for the first time and it
touched my soul. I do believe he's happy and has accepted his
new home. He's a very special cat and so very beautiful, too.
Both he and Sadie have adopted me, as I have them, and we're all
happy. Thank you so much.
Love,
Dolores
Mousse has settled in great
and we are just loving him to pieces. He flew home without a single
peep. Used his litter box right away and uses his scratching posts
really well also. He has the most wonderful personality, he lets
the kids carry him everywhere. Loves to chase everything across our
wood floors and slide from one end of the house to the other. He would
have nothing to do with staying in one room for more than a day and quickly
acquainted himself with our whole house and our dog Riley. They became
fast friends, although Riley thinks Mouse is a little to active for his 14
years. But when Mousse is ready to nap Riley always has a spot warmed
up for him. He is incredibly mischievous and jumps into any open
cupboard, purse, suitcase or box and has become quite an escape artist that
we have to watch very closely every time we go outside. I can't begin
to thank you making our family complete again. Mousse almost has as
many toys as the kids! He is also growing so fast!!
Rocky and Jamey. They
are getting along really well. Rocky has adjusted to the family and
walks around like royalty. Guess that's what happens when you treat
him like a King!! Thanks again so much he is a huge asset to our
family.
